OCIC for Children


St. Gabriel welcomes children and youth (typically ages 7 – 17) who are unbaptized, from another faith tradition, or who have missed receiving sacraments at the traditional age:


  • Our OCIC for Children program is scheduled as needed and prepares young people to celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation - accompanying them on their unique journey of faith


  • Sessions include prayer, instruction, and family involvement to support each child’s full initiation into the Catholic Church


If your child requires sacramental preparation outside the usual schedule, please reach out to the Faith Formation Office for more information.
