St. Gabriel Parish Stewardship: Tithe and Weekly Offering

At St. Gabriel, we joyfully recognize that everything we possess is a gracious gift from God, entrusted to us for the good of our families, the Church, and those in need. The practice of tithing - traditionally giving back a portion (often 10%) of our financial blessings - has deep roots in Scripture and reflects our trust in God’s providence and our heartfelt gratitude for all He provides.

Here in our parish community, your weekly offerings and donations, collected during the Offertory at Mass, are expressions of stewardship and worship. Through your generosity, you:

• Participate in the mission of St. Gabriel to evangelize, serve, and welcome all
• Sustain our Parish ministries, sacramental life, faith formation, and outreach
• Express your gratitude and love for God by supporting His work within and beyond our church doors

As St. Paul reminds us, “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). The Church encourages us to give prayerfully, generously, and sacrificially - out of love for God and our neighbor, not from obligation.
