The mission of the liturgical ministries is to assist Father Richard Vu in the celebration of the Holy Mass. There are several groups that assist him during the liturgy. Fr. Richard plans the flow of the liturgy and assures that the Catholic guidelines for Liturgy from the Roman Missal and from the Archdiocese are followed.

Mass Captains
Mass Captains coordinate all ministries at each mass under the direction of the clergy. The Mass Captains are:
Saturday, 5:00pm - Mr. Tom Cox
Sunday, 8:00am - Mrs. Donna Coleman and Mrs. Mary Anderson
Sunday, 10:30am - Mr. Philip Turmel
ALTAR / LINEN GUILD
These ministers maintain the inventory of supplies (i.e. candles, hosts, wine, special liturgy items, etc.). They are in charge of cleaning altar linens, seasonal cleaning of vestments and the miscellaneous cleaning of the Sacristy.
ALTAR SERVER
Altar servers assist the mass celebrant and deacons during the course of the Mass. Servers are needed at every weekend Mass, holy days, as well as weddings and funerals. Altar Servers are required to have completed their First Holy Communion. Please contact the Parish Office if you are interested in serving.
ART AND ENVIRONMENT
These ministers are charged with maintaining an environment of sanctity for our worship through planning and displaying seasonal art, floral arrangements and thematic settings. This ministry is coordinated by Mrs. Connie Davis.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTER OF HOLY COMMUNION
The EMHC’s primary function is to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during the Eucharistic Celebration. Extraordinary Ministers are called by the pastor to serve. Interested ministers also participate in taking the Eucharist to shut-ins, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc. Must be sixteen years old or older, confirmed and in good standing with the Catholic Church.
SACRISTAN
These Mass ministers prepare the materials (Bread and Wine, altar set up, etc.) for the celebration of the Eucharist. Special training is required. Must have been an EMHC for one year before becoming a Sacristan.
LECTOR
Lectors proclaim the Word of God through the first and second readings during Mass. The coordinator for this ministry is Mr. Philip Turmel.
USHER
Welcome people as they enter for Mass, assisting them with locating seats when necessary. Duties include passing the collection baskets, directing people to the altar during communion, and distributing bulletins at the end of the Mass. The coordinator for this ministry is Mr. Jim Eckert.
