Youth Ministry News

In an effort to comply with the recommendations from Bishop Konzen with the Archdiocese, FCBOE and the CDC regarding COVID 19, our Religious Education classes are canceled until further notice.  As we receive information we will update the calendar and our families.  Please contact the Religious Education Department at (770) 461 - 0493 with any questions or concerns.

Emails with ongoing information will be sent weekly, as well as resources to engage our youth during this time.  I will also use additional means to communicate and keep in touch with our teens such as Group Me, Remind, Google Classroom and Zoom.   Please check your email for weekly updates.

Please keep scrolling for opportunities and resources during this time.

For Families!

Starting Wednesday, May 6 (four part series)

Altaration Family Night with Mark Hart and Emily Wilson

Is Mass boring for you or your teens? We’ve all been there! Now that we cannot attend public Masses, we have an opportunity to reconsider the awesome gift that we have in the Mass- and how easy it is to take for granted.

Join us for a quick, fun 4-part series on the Mass with Mark Hart and Emily Wilson with music, games, and inspiration.

Gather your family, pop some popcorn, give Netflix a break, and use the time that God is giving you right now to gather as a family and explore the mystery of the Mass.

I participated in a webinar on "Accompanying Families with Teens While Social Distancing" organized by the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry.  When the recording is posted, I will share it with you.  Please visit www.roypetitfils.com for information from a well known Catholic Counselor in Lousianna.
