Stewardship needs: Volunteers needed to give direction and share their Catholic Faith with the teens of the parish. Also, they assist in a variety of activities such as cooking, transportation, youth retreats and chaperones. This program is for high school students, grades 9 to 12. Life Teen approaches youth ministry holistically combining religious education, teen issues, service and social activities. Life Nights are held on Sundays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Time: Weekly attendance at Life Teen Core meetings and Sunday Life Nights.
Talent: Enthusiastic, outgoing with leadership abilities.   Enjoy working with teens.
Volunteer sponsors are needed to share their Catholic Faith. RCIA is a process that begins with the opportunity for adults to inquire about the Catholic Faith. This is followed by a series of classes exploring the teachings of the Catholic Church. A Rite of Welcome is celebrated with those who choose to continue toward full initiation. Baptized Catholics who desire to receive the sacrament of Confirmation or another sacrament participate in RCIA as candidates; non-Catholics and adults who are not baptized enter as catechumens. Each catechumen and candidate has a sponsor to assist them in their faith journey.
