Stewardship

Discover your talents. Live your gifts. Explore your purpose.

The Stewardship Committee is made up of parishioners who work to communicate, promote and monitor our parish commitment to stewardship.  They also encourage parishioners to share their gifts of time, talent and treasure both within and beyond the St. Gabriel community.

Help make a difference in your parish

We meet the 3rd Monday evening of each month to plan for the development of our church and the best use of our gifts.  Upcoming meetings:

October 17, 6:30pm, Room 260

November 21, 6:30pm Room 260

New Mommy & Me Program

The Stewardship Committee wants to help welcome newly-arrived families with young children to our parish. It can be difficult to meet other young mothers and/ or couples with kids when one is new to a parish. We are in the early stages of planning a Mommy & Me program to facilitate the introduction of newcomers to current members. If you are interested in meeting other young parents in our parish, please let us know by contacting Jan Nashatker at jnashatker@msn.com or (803) 646-0624.

Life is simply a stewardship and not an ownership, a trust and not a gift.  With a gift you may do as you please, but with a trust you must give an account. Whether it is my talents, my time, my treasure or the temple of my body, in all of these I am only a steward.  - D. L. Moody
